Neighborhoods in Detroit include Downtown, ranked one of the best big city neighborhoods to retire by CNN Money magazine in 2007, has high rise apartments, such as Riverfront Towers. Downtown includes many historic communities such as Bricktown, Campus Martius, Greektown, Grand Circus Park (Foxtown), and Washington Boulevard. Midtown includes Brush Park, Cass Corridor, the Wayne State University campus, with its many museums, Cultural Center, East Ferry and Woodbridge. North Detroit includes Atkinson Avenue Historic District, Arden Park-East Boston, Baldwin Park, Bagley, Boston-Edison, the largest residential historic district in the country, Chaldean Town, Palmer Park, tree-lined Palmer Woods, North End, and University District. South Detroit has Boynton and Delray. East Detroit contains Black Bottom-Paradise Valley, Chandler Park, Conant Gardens, tree-lined East English Village, Elmwood Park, Lafayette Park, Morningside, Poletown, West Village and Indian Village. West Detroit includes Old Redford, Rosedale Park, Warrendale and Parkland. Southwest Detroit includes Mexican Town, Springwell's Village, and Corktown, the oldest surviving neighborhood in Detroit.
